HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE NO.1: THE IN -LAWS
As you gals know, I very much have a love/hate relationship with Gift Guides. Always have. Perhaps this is too much honesty on a Wednesday morning, but here we are. Of the course of the this year, I’ve had lots of conversations with various people in my circle of this crazy influencer world and have realized that a part of my job here is to serve YOU.

READ HOME: The Living room
And just like that, we have been living in our charming 1930s cape cod home for 8 months. Honestly, where has time gone? And honestly, I shouldn’t even say that, because it is the most cliche saying these days…time seemingly just flies by and there is no point in mentioning it. But before I start down a rabbit hole of nonsense…let’s talk about home design.

QUARTERLY RESET & Transition
Welp, that was fast.
And just like that (can you believe that I still have not watched that yet?!), April is here and 2022 is just flying by. Honestly, I am not sure why I am even surprised by the fact that time is consistently speeding by. It’s not new news, but I am shocked every time.
One thing I knew from the start

That’s when I started cultivating things here on the Internet. If we want to be honest, I actually started in 2012...but it was more online diary vibes and I had no clue what I was doing. Just sharing my experiences while living in the Big Apple. Such a magical time in my life. In the Summer of 2013, Jason and I got married and I moved away from NYC shortly before our wedding day. We had big plans to move back. However, that all changed when I got that first student loan bill in the mail around November...I was crushed about both the loan and not going back.

FOR THE YEAR AHEAD
It is Day 11 of 2022 already. It seems like life continues to pass by faster and faster each year, which I love, but also kinda hate. But nonetheless I am thankful for life and the continued opportunity to keep plowing ahead.
For me, 2021 was such an interesting year. A year that started out with lots of hope, seemingly kind of simmered and left me feeling depleted, unexcited, stressed and burned out. My goal of going further happened indeed, but left me without the results I was hoping for.

FAMILY TRADITIONS
It’s hard to believe that Jason and I are approaching 9 married years together (in June 2022) and how our traditions have evolved since our first Christmas. I remember us chatting about what our plans would be for that first year. I was determined we would go to Bainbridge and he was determined we would go to Ashtabula. T
GRATITUDE
Thankfulness. It’s something that we think about in the days leading up to Thanksgiving. But truthfully, thankfulness should be a part of our daily heart posture. Being the busy bee that I am, it can be hard for me to maintain a place of gratitude and thankfulness in my every day. Most days I am flying around like a madwoman, often finding something to complain about or stressing about things that don’t ultimately matter
THE ART OF TIPPING
I’ll never forget my first true experience with tipping. It was in Fall 2011 while sitting in a charming restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen during a visit to New York City with some of then college peers. These were the days of cash tipping I must add.
From Further To Remain
As usual, yet another month is flying by. July began and I feel that things are moving over 100 mph, which is really interesting as I usually find July to be a quiet month. Not the case this year and I believe that is a direct result of our wild COVID year. Maybe it is just me, but it feels like we are trying to play catchup or make up for the lost time we had in 2020. Or maybe this consistent level of busyness is just the norm now. I don’t know, but I do know I am tired!
Summer Office Look (or maybe just Casual Friday?)
Summertime. Sweet summertime. She’s finally here and I am beyond delighted. As I have shared, one of the things I love about summer is how it provides me with the opportunity to really change things up with my style.
Skincare Change Up The Summer Days Ahead
Hello Summertime. Well not yet, but almost. Can you even believe that June is nearing? I can’t, because it feels like just yesterday we were welcoming 2021 and now we are halfway through the year.
Dare to DREAM
There are many life lessons my mom instilled in my sisters and myself. I hold nearly every one of those lessons dear to my heart. But there is one lesson in particular that I am incredibly thankful for and that was her constant encouragement for us to DREAM BIG.
A Life Sans Alcohol: Why I Decided To Stop Drinking
I remember the exact moment…the time, the place, the people I was surrounded by when I had my first social experience with alcohol.
2021: A Courageous Commitment To Change
Hello 2021. Wow, it feels weird to even type those numbers in that specific sequence; but despite how it might feel, the truth is that a new year is here. For as long as I can remember, I have always liked fresh starts.
