The older I get, the less I love the idea of a two-piece swimsuit. I guess they call this shift in mindset, AGING. Ugh. While I'm relatively the same size I was in my early twenties, there's just something about being a bit more covered up in my swimsuit that makes me feel more confident!

With a little uncertainty, nearly 5 years ago I started this blog. I was not 100% sure what the outcome would be, but I knew that I wanted to create a space that inspired the everyday gal...a place that inspired her to discover and explore her own timeless style.

I LOVE A GOOD SLEEP. Between working a full day as a wardrobe stylist and style influencer, you can believe that I am pretty pooped at the end of the workday.

There are lots of ways that we can make a bold and dynamic statement with our clothing. A mean pair of earrings, a killer handbag, an interesting top, all of which are GREAT. However, I think there is one clothing piece that we often forgot about and that's a BLAZER.

Soooo...I totally captured this look last summer while visiting Jason's family for the 4th of July! The goal was to get them posted last summer, but as you can see, that clearly did not happen. One of the things that can be both great and bad is the backlog of content created that never makes a debut on the blog.

While I don't have a traditional office profession, I do love a good modprof look. Modprof is short for Modern Day Professional! I think I've shared that "phrase" in another post. In fact, I'm certain that I have!

Roughly five years ago, I made the decision to go natural. It was a hard one, but I felt it was necessary, as my relaxed hair was completely wrecked. In May of 2013, just a month before our wedding, I did the big chop.

I mean, it's truly not a surprise at all...but I LOVE BEAUTY PRODUCTS. More so than just loving beauty products, I love finding things that truly work and improve my skin's overall well-being!
