And the late summer wanderlust continues. Seriously friends, I have sooooo much summer stuff its kinda crazy. Well, actually just about two more weeks worth and we will be moving right into Fall. While I am definitely a summer lover, I am over the moon for cool temperatures, pumpkin spice things and scarves.

You know that moment when you ruin one of your favorite pieces in the wash? Welp, that happened THIS WEEK to THIS TOP. Devastated does not even begin to explain how upset I am about loosing this piece from my summer wardrobe collection. At least I was able to get some good photos in it before I ruined it.

I was cruising around the Nordstrom website and realized that THIS embroidered moto is currently ON SALE. And then I realized I still had these images, so I decided to whip up a quick post for you lovelies!

And just like that, it's already time for school to commence again! Well, not for me, but for all the kiddos and college students out there. I'm finding it a little hard to believe that I have been done with graduate school for exactly a year and two months NOW. While I miss the idea and routine of school, I don't actually miss "school."

Sooo, August 1st is TOMORROW…which means it’s basically time for me to start talking back to school style. But here’s the truth, I have about 9 sets of summer photos (including this look) that I still need to post! Yikes. So, if it’s ok with you cool cats, we are going to pretend that Summer is still in full swing as I share these looks here on the site.

Welp (and yes, that is one of my favorite words), this post has been a longtime coming. Honestly, I wonder if I've been slow in posting it because I am not ready to close the book on Marfa?! As I've said on countless occasions, this trip was seriously magical.

If you’ve been following me awhile now, then you already know that I have infinite love for evening wear. I am personally convinced that my love for gowns started at a young age, thanks to dance and my participation in pageants. Yup, typical Southern Bell here.

There's only word that comes to mind when I think back to this experience...MAJESTIC. I knew that visiting White Sands would be a magical site to see, but I truly had no idea just how impacted I would be from seeing these sand dunes nearly meet the clouds.

Happy 4th of July my sweet friends! While most of you are out enjoying (which you should be), I am currently trying to get caught up on life. I'm a Southern gal, so naturally I'm drawn to crisp whites and of course, summertime is the best time to rock a crisp white. There's something perfectly refreshing, charming and feminine about wearing white...and honestly, I don't wear it enough!

Seeing Prada Marfa had been on my bucket list for quite some time. Just two years ago when decorating my office, I decided to make the iconic artwork that represents this installation art piece, the focal point of my design.

Wowzers, that was super quick. Four Years. In some sense, it really does feel like it was yesterday that we got married. On the other hand, it seems like we've been together for an eternity already! ha.

Few people know this, but one of the things that really peaked my interest in Fashion was Boutique shopping. I'll never forget my first time walking into a boutique (it was February 2008) and what it felt like. It was truly something special.

If you follow me on Snapchat, then you already know that I have a major love for the facial oil trend that is currently happening in the beauty space. Morning and night, I pretty much lather my face in oil and it's basically the highlight of my day.  I know...I sound crazy...but I'm beauty obsessed.

I always thought that I would have to travel abroad to be data-less on vacation, but it appears that can happen right here in America. Exactly 8 hours away from Dallas, TX (and really close to the border) is a darling town called MARFA.

The City of Marfa. Without question, one of the most magical places I have ever been! For those of you who don't follow along via social media, this past April I made a trip out West to visit this gem of a city, along with a few gal pals.

It's hard to believe it's been nearly 10 years since I graduated from High School. I am currently planning my class reunion, which will be happening in just a few short weeks! Eeeek. There's no doubt about it, graduating from High School was an incredibly fun part of life and for so many reasons!

I feel like it's pretty safe to cue Brittany Spear's "Ooops, I Did It Again." Inconsistency has definitely been my middle name for the last couple of weeks. To be completely honest, life has been serving me all kinds of curveballs. From personal things to work things to life things...I've been hardcore riding the struggle bus in the creative department.

There's no doubt about it, I'm an aspiring Parisian! I'm completely and utterly obsessed with the French culture and talk about it often. From fashion, to entertaining, to beauty to French calligraphy, the obsession is real. On my latest quest to continue unveiling my most inner "Parisian" self, I snagged a copy of the famous "How to Be Parisian Wherever You Are" book while out shopping this week.
