Welp, I think we have officially hit that awkward time in the year where winter isn't exactly over, but it isn't exactly spring! Getting dressed in the mornings can be a little extra complicated as you are likely over your winter clothing and ready to purchase a few new things, but it's the awkward seasonal timing that makes you think twice.

Happy Galentine's Day! And yes, I promise this is a real holiday...I mean...just search Google and you'll see that I am indeed correct. When I was chatting with Jason about our Galentine's Day content, he was like "What is Galentine's Day?"  The last thing we need in America is another holiday to celebrate, but I will gladly take any opportunity to celebrate the gals that I love and adore.

It’s funny to think that as life changes, so do your friendships and relationships with others. To be honest, I don’t think that is something that most of us like to think about. However, it is a simple reality of life.  While this season of life can be brutally painful, it is also amazingly wonderful to see what new friendships come to the surface.

It appears that we are skipping Fall this year. With the time change and the sudden bitter cold, I'm taking the time to flashback to a quick moment. One of those few days when I think we all experienced true fall feels! Second to summer, Fall is my favorite season.

Now that I actually have to get up on Mondays...I can honestly say...those Monday Blues are REAL. I love a fresh start to the week, but the weekend seemingly just whips by and before you know it, it's time to start all over again. Sigh. Such is life or Jason would say, "Welcome to the real world Candace." While I may not be the fondest of Mondays these days, I will say that I'm pretty darn proud of the level of consistency that's been happening with the site since I started with Wardrobe Therapy.

Woke up this morning and first thing I did was turn on the HEAT. As of 6:30AM it was 45 degrees out, which means one thing...SWEATER WEATHER. It goes without saying, but I think we have all been anxiously awaiting sweater weather. After all, it's the best part of Fall.

Overalls for fall 2017? Yes, please. I must admit, I captured these super cool photos seemingly forever ago, but they are totally fall worthy! Additionally, overalls are still a very in thing, so why not share a little style inspiration with you all.

Remnants of Summer '17. If there was a penny for every time I said, "I can't believe how fast time flies," you gals and guys would be RICH. As I grow older, it truly feels like time flies by in super sonic speed.

I think it goes without saying, but I've got a thang for off-the-shoulder everythang. Seriously, I don't think I could be more in LOVE with a trend. In all honesty, I'm praying that this trend never goes out of style.

I was cruising around the Nordstrom website and realized that THIS embroidered moto is currently ON SALE. And then I realized I still had these images, so I decided to whip up a quick post for you lovelies!

Sooo, August 1st is TOMORROW…which means it’s basically time for me to start talking back to school style. But here’s the truth, I have about 9 sets of summer photos (including this look) that I still need to post! Yikes. So, if it’s ok with you cool cats, we are going to pretend that Summer is still in full swing as I share these looks here on the site.

Welp (and yes, that is one of my favorite words), this post has been a longtime coming. Honestly, I wonder if I've been slow in posting it because I am not ready to close the book on Marfa?! As I've said on countless occasions, this trip was seriously magical.

With our temperatures on the up and up, I knew I had to get busy and share this look! I know, it's a bell-sleeve mockneck and in the dead of Spring. LOL. But I must admit, it's kinda perfect for Spring. Incredibly light and breathable for these warm temperatures we are FINALLY having! Bless it.

Supposedly, Greenery is the 2017 Color of the Year. However, if you’ve had your ear to the ground, you’ll know that pink is really shaping up to be the star color for 2-0-1-7. Yes, PINK. From the red carpet to Paris Fashion Week to the streets, pink is without a doubt the go-to color if you are looking to make a statement.

There's one thing that I never leave home without and that's either a sweater or scarf. Being cold natured, I know it is highly likely that I will find myself freezing at some point. Heck, I find myself freezing at home. To put it simply, sweaters and scarves are my go-to's for warmth!

I know, I know. Why am I wearing a chunky sweater and blanket scarf? Well, it's because I captured these photos in January! So yes, I've had these images for awhile now! However, with our bipolar weather, it is highly likely that we'll be wearing sweaters and scarfs at some point before Spring officially comes!

There's one word that I am certain Jason never wants to hear again and that's juxtaposition. Hands down, it's my favorite word to use to explain my love for fashion, art, decorating, etc. He just gives me that look when I say it. LOL. It's so funny.
