INSPIRED.

There are so many things I love about my job as a stylist. But perhaps one of the things I love most is connecting with clients and in turn being inspired by them. By their story, their passion, their purpose…it pierces my heart in way that I can’t explain. Through the collaborative process of working together, I find this mutual inspiration that arises between me and my clients…it’s truly a special part of the job and one of the things I cherish most.

I have a client who has an incredible background in the equestrian world. So naturally, to immerse myself into her world, I did lots of fashion and trend research and found myself incredibly inspired. What’s cool about style in the equestrian scene is that most of it’s roots can be found in the classic style persona…which you know I love indeed. So to my push myself creatively, I whipped up my very own “equestrian-esque look.”

The fitted jacket, being pulled in at the waist and the boot, are core pieces of achieving the look. I incorporated these fun tights to give the same aesthetic as breeches and I think it worked quite beautifully.

When it comes to fashion inspiration, where do you draw your’s from? For me, it is literally everywhere. Taking note of the details and the stories and stowing them away in my memory bank. That is how I stay inspired!
