Well, the day of public access for the Nordstrom sale is upon us! And as promised, I wanted to deliver you with some insights on some quality things you can invest from this year’s sale.

But before we get to that, I got to admit, the Nordstrom sale isn’t a personal favorite of mine. In fact, in many ways, I find the sale overwhelming and overtalked about. And seemingly, many of you expressed similar sentiments! As a stylist, I believe there is such value in stretching the dollar. However, we shouldn’t just spend because we can…we should consider each purchase thoughtfully and understand the role that piece is going to play in our wardrobe for seasons to come. So with that in mind, today on Instagram, I armed you with some solid tips you can carry around in your back pocket! Ok, on to my picks! When it comes to an annual sale like the Nordstrom Sale, I think it is advantegous to focus your efforts on acquiring pieces that are bit higher in price point that land you some solid savings and will be in your closet for many years. Since sales are always happening in some capacity at all of your other usual spots, if able, spend your time researching in the $150+ selections and see what spectular gem or gems you are able to add to your rotation that you would normally forgo due to it being full price. For the this year’s recommendations, I focused on classic, evergreen pieces. You know the lovely silk blouse, a great pair of denim, a chic top coat, a killer tote…those kind of things!
