And it is the eve of our last summer weekend. While “technically” there are still some summer days ahead, most of us consider Labor Day weekend to be the close of the summer days we once knew. I am one of those people! Yes, of course, I wish that the vibes of summer could stay forever, but I must admit that I am also ready for FALL. The crisp chill in the air, rich autumnal hues, and most importantly, FALL FASHION.
There is something extra magical about fall fashion! Fashion of the fall season represents cozy layers and a chance to try something new. And oh yes, speaking of fall fashion magic, there are lots of MAGICAL trends happening this season. The best way I know how to describe the vibe for this season is FRESHNESS. Ooh, and a major 70s nuance. Seriously so good. While I could go on and on about all the trends I am loving for fall, I want to tell you about two that I think you will love: plaids + spots. Yes, somewhat of a classic texture and print, but this year it feels extra special and new! When it comes to focusing on trend pieces for my wardrobe, I like to keep things nice and affordable. A more moderate price point, so I can layer in just a few new pieces or a lot, depending on how I’m feeling! One of the best spots to find affordable fashion is Walmart! They truly have a lot of variety that is stylish and from brands you recognize. To give you a dose of fall outfit inspiration with a focus on plaids + spots, I am excited to be teaming up with Walmart for the We Dress America Campaign. Not only do these looks feature the prints I mentioned above, but my outfits are head-to-toe Walmart Fashion. Pretty dang good, right? As you begin working on your fall look, be sure to keep Walmart in mind, because their selection is pretty LIT right now. Also, did I just say LIT…I’m officially trying to be cool. Ha.
Here’s to plaids + spots, fall style affordable pieces and Walmart Fashion!
